Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we don't do. Last updated October 13, 2026.

The short version

  • Account basics (email, name) to let you sign in.
  • Recipes and labels you create, stored so you can come back to them.
  • Analytics (page views, errors, how pages are used) to fix bugs and improve the product, with your consent.
  • Ads from Google AdSense on our public pages, with your consent. Never in the paid product.
  • We don't sell your account data or your recipes, and we don't train AI models on them.

Data we collect

Account data. Email address, display name, hashed password, plan tier.

Content. The recipes, labels, ingredients, and any files you upload.

Usage. Page views, feature usage, crash reports. We use this to find and fix bugs and prioritize roadmap work. With your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect this on our behalf, and Google AdSense may use cookies to show ads on our public pages. See the Cookie Policy.

Third parties we use

We're honest about the infra. We use Supabase for database + auth, Freemius for payments (as Merchant of Record), and USDA FoodData Central for public nutrient data. We send the minimum data each service needs. With your consent, Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and AdSense) and Microsoft (Clarity) process data about how you use our website; see the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can export your data any time via the JSON export feature. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated recipes by emailing support@nutritionfactlabel.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: authentication (to keep you signed in), preferences (theme, language). With your consent, we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising cookies (Google AdSense, on public pages only, never in the paid product). GDPR / CCPA
